As February 2011 begins, most rooms have already started or will restart in the coming month. In addition to the regulars, a new room has popped up as well as some new venues that are testing the comedy waters.
Happy Endings Comedy Club is new room in Sydney’s Kings Cross. Starting on Saturday 19th of February, it will have an early show at 8pm and a late show at 10pm. The opening night will feature performances by Tahir, Steve Philp and Daniel Townes. Happy Endings happens at El Rocco (154 Brougham St, Cnr William St, Kings Cross,NSW) and bookings can be made through the Happy Endings website .
Sunday the 6th of February sees comedy coming to the Blue Diamond Club (Level 15, 123 Queen Street Melbourne, VIC). The show features Lehmo, Lawrence Mooney, Anyone for Tennis?, Linda Beatty & MC Col Cameron. The show starts at 5:30pm and bookings can be made by phoning 03 8601 2720.
The Brookfield Vineyard (1640 Channel Highway, Margate, TAS) will become the Brookfield Comedy Club on Wednesday 9th of February. The MC will be Gavin Baskerville and the headliner is Damian Callinan. Bookings can be made through TryBooking .
